Summer School Program
Sure Summer School 2024 (2-8 September 2024 İstanbul Türkiye)

The summer school is organized by the Yildiz Technical University (Istanbul-Türkiye) and

 the Society for Urban Ecology (SURE) in cooperation with Turk and international partners.

It aims at exploring human and environmental challenges and finding solutions for these.

The Istanbul, Europe's highest populations City, serve as the perfect study area for this purpose.

The school will include training on research methodology and group work on various research projects.

Field studies that will focus on urban ecological areas of Istanbul will be carried out as part of the summer school.

The research part will be in connection of the Summer School from 2st till 8st of September.

How to apply?

 

For the summer school, a completed basic education in the fields of geography, biology,

urban and regional planning, landscape architecture, natural sciences teaching and

social sciences teaching of the training is required. Further postgraduate education is preferred.

In order to participate on the Summer School, you need to submit a short CV and motivation letter.
